We did not have a Startup Tech Hub in September. For October, the Tech Hub is scheduled for Saturday October 22nd, from 2 to 4 pm. Quite a bit on the agenda.
a) Paddy's Coffee House recognised as small business of the year by Senator Ellen Corbett
b) Senator Ellen Corbett will be talking about her Social Network legislation (SB 242)
c) There will be a presentation by Ragapa.com, a startup based in the East Bay
d) Networking and what have you.

Start Up Tech Hub - July 2011
Oh what a glorious turnout for the previous Tech Hub meet. It far exceeded our expectations, being our first try and attempt. Union City Patch wrote a wonderful article about the Tech Hub meet. Our Tech Hub meets every 3rd Saturday of the month from 2 to 4 pm.
This month promises to be even more interesting. Presentations, presentations, presentations, networking galore, what more can one ask for.
Jack Herrington will be talking about software development for the mobile platform, and we are also going to feature two startups. They are eager to share and discuss their product with you.
Please help us spread the word, and make this a true Silicon Valley success story.

First Start Up Tech Hub - A success
Our first StartUp Tech Hub held on June 18th from 2 to 4 pm was a great success. We were taken aback on the enthusiasm and the fervour of the participants. Few budding entrepreneurs got some sound advice from couple of seasoned startup veterans, who are now on their 4th and 5th ventures.
Networking was the name of the game. Web designers were showcasing their portfolios to prospective employers, business cards and twitter handles were being exchanged.
This has given us the confidence to continue hosting more meetups. The next meetup will be on Saturday July 16th from 2 to 4 pm. Jack Herrington, a loyal supporter of Paddy's, right from the initial days, and a seasoned tech industry veteran in his own right, will be talking on Mobile Software Development. We are also going to showcase two startups, who need the critique from the audience to further develop and hone their products.
If you know any startups that want to show case their product line, feel free to invite them.

Start Up Tech Hub meet
There are quite a few tech start ups that use Paddy's as a location for coding, meetings and general what have you. And being the inquisitive soul that we are, we query them on their product etc. And to help some of them out, we have implemented their products at Paddy's.
It is with an intent to bring together all these like minded people, we are organising a StartUp Tech Hub meet every 3rd Saturday of the month from 2 to 4 pm. June 18th will be our first meet. Our goal is to introduce the startups to other techies, marketing folks, city and financial folks, all in all making it a perfect networking opportunity. We are planning on guest speakers from next month, so stay tuned.
